ACT-MP3 is a very simple program designed to find album covers for the MP3s stored on your computer.
ACT-MP3 uses the Discogs database to find the information and the developer recommends that you back up your music before using the tool - although in theory the only thing ACT-MP3 affects is the cover image.
To use ACT-MP3, simply pick the directory where your music is stored, choose the format you want for the album artwork, set a maximum size, and press go. How long the process takes depends on how large your collection is, but if it's very big, it will take a good few minutes.
ACT-MP3 is a very basic tool - there's no preview of the images and it didn't always find album covers for our test music. That said, it's free and easy to use, so if you want to organize and brighten up your music collection, ACT-MP3 is an easy way to do so.
